Monte Carlo Hotel Fire Update, Hotel Still Closed

The Monte Carlo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas
is still closed and may not be reopening until
the middle of February after the January 25th
rooftop fire.

The hotel has canceled all Lance Burton shows and
all dinner reservations at the resort. Weddings
have been shifted to the MGM sister properties.
All hotel guests with room reservations currently
through February 6th, are being accommodated at
other MGM properties.
Meetings and conventions also have been moved
to other properties.

It seems like they are doing their best under a
very difficult situation. I can't imagine relocating
guests for 3 thousand rooms, much less meetings,
weddings and everything else scheduled at this
megaresort.
